In what sounds almost too good to be true, the better three-quarters of New Edition (sans pre-crackhead Bobby Brown) are reuniting to resurrect that early ‘90s smooth hip-hop and R&B funky freshness. Bell Biv DeVoe (composed of Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins and Ronnie DeVoe) are best know for the hits “Poison” and “When Will I See You Smile Again?”, songs that enflamed the raging hormones at our middle school dances. These three fine gentlemen are coming around to croon famous lines like “Never trust a big butt and a smile” and maybe show off some of that fly synchronized dancing. It’s like the last 15 years blessedly never happened.
