Leave it to the world of dance to bring new life to the most inanimate, mundane objects we so easily overlook or forget. OC-based dance company The Assembly consistently turns out amazing new performances that waltzes away from traditional dance to welcome up and coming choreographers and collaborators. Their latest, conceptual endeavor re-imagines four elements through movement: light, concrete, wood and mirror. Aptly titled 'IV,' it also culls together four choreographers— Delyer Anderson, Christopher Bordenave, Kalynn Marin, and Jobel Medina—and their teams, which include dancers, costume, production, and sound designers, to inspire audience's imagination about these stationary and immobile forms. Come and experience this limited-run, intimate performance tonight.
