The breakdown: Hosted by Snoop Dogg, this year's BET Hip Hop Awards (randomly on a Tuesday) were filled with performances galore by rappers like French Montana, 2 Chainz, Kendrick Lamar, Meek Mill, Rick Ross, Future, Yo Gotti, and even Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. The kicker? They barely gave out awards. Not that anyone was complaining (JK, tons of people were complaining on-line) but this years “award” show played out like a concert complete with a TON of their signature “cypher” battles that according to Twitter, pretty much ended up being the highlight of the show. At the end of the festivities, Uncle Snoop passed out his “favorite snack” which is apparently a bacon, sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich with grape Welch's jelly. No words.
