Imagine an art show dedicated to the mockery of good taste. Sounds delicious, doesn't it? Well, it's happening—at Grand Central Art Gallery. Featuring the Cacophony Society, an organization comprised of disorganized groups of “guerilla artists, performers and dada throwbacks,” this event promises to get a little strange. Carrying on in the tradition of Ken Kesey's Merry Pranksters, the Cacophony Society reportedly served as inspiration for Project Mayhem in Fight Club and counts Burning Man's chief organizers among its ranks. Ready yourself for a divine union of performance aesthetic met with abject absurdity.
Tuesdays-Sundays. Starts: Feb. 4. Continues through April 15, 2012
