Now in its 32nd year, the Great Labor Day Cruise has grown to be one of the largest vintage auto events in the country. For three straight days, this festival celebrates all things classic cars—more than 1400 pre-1978 retro rides are expected to attend, and show off their fancy wheels along a nonstop 1.25 mile cruise track. Geared toward the entire family, the Cruise also features a model car contest, a wild wagons exhibit, and a selection of more than 100 vendors selling everything from kitschy clothing to flashy auto accessories. The highlight of the event, however, is the 1965 Ford Mustang that will be built by event volunteers, with 90 percent of parts donated. The car will be raffled off at the end of the fest—and all proceeds will go to the Wounded Warrior Project.
