In the pantheon of post-first-wave punk bands from the 1990s, the Muffs represent an anomaly, having been signed to a major label (Warner Bros.) so soon after their debut. The Kim Shattuck-fronted band rocked songs with a peculiar knack for getting stuck on auto replay in the listener's mind. If you haven't had a chance, check out their 1993 self-titled album. You won't regret it.
