The Nekromantix, Suicidal Tendencies, Three Bad Jacks, The Dickies and Agent Orange are confirmed acts for the third annual So Cal Hoedown that comes to San Pedro in October.
The event previously brought punk, rockabilly and psychobilly bands to the streets of downtown Santa Ana, with past lineups having featured the likes of Shooter Jennings, Wanda Jackson, Rocket From the Crypt, Jello Biafra, Deke Dickerson, Lee Rocker, Slim Jim Phantom, Cadillac Tramps, Throw Rag, Southern Culture on the Skids, Supersuckers and Chop Tops. The Nekromantix have also played So Cal Hoedown before.
The move was made to a much larger location at the Port of Los Angeles in San Pedro, adjacent to the famed SS Lane Victory merchant ship, where live music will be performed on two stages.
Exhibits will feature classic cars and low-brow art, retail shopping venders will be on site, and a full bar, craft beer kegs and food trucks will fuel the masses.
The runtime is noon to 11 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5, at 3011 Miner St., San Pedro. Tickets are $30 (early bird), $40 (presale) and $50 (day of show). Kids 10 and under are admitted free.
