After playing five shows last year in London and the greater New York area, the Rolling Stones announced this morning that they'll be embarking on a nine show run of North America as part of their 50 & Counting Tour including a date in Anaheim.
The show will take place at Honda Center on May 15, with an on-sale date still to be determined. Other stops include Los Angeles, Oakland, San Jose, Las Vegas, Toronto, Chicago, Boston and Philadelphia before heading back to England for a headlining gig at Glastonbury and Hyde Park in London.
Former guitarist Mick Taylor will join the band on this tour. There isn't any word is former bassist Bill Wyman will at this time, but he did play with the band on a few of the shows late last year.
This should satisfy the demand for shows Stateside, since after all, the Stones were heavily rumored to headline Coachella.
If ticket prices for the London and New York-area shows are any indication of what's to come, fans better be willing to fork over some big bucks for this show.

It has been a while since the Stones last played Orange County, which was November 5, 2005 at Angel Stadium. While for some bands playing an arena may not seem so intimate, it's as good as it will get for fans.
Stay tuned for more info when we find out more about the on-sale dates.
