Goldrushed, which was lauded by indie music blogs for its fun up-tempo tracks and similarity to Phoenix. They’ve since released a new EP called Smile, which strays away from the “Litsztomania” sound and instead borrows more inspiration from funk and early 2000s mainstream rock. The title track, “Smile,” is the kind of song you and your friends would sing along with—and that might be encouraged by how multiple voices sing the chorus. Another track, “Fashion,” sounds like a modern remix of a song straight from a ‘70s radio station. With its electric guitar blends and groovy hooks, you might be inspired to buy some disco pants today.
