The Internet: It’s just another way for goofy, awkward adolescents to get picked on. As if being a teenager weren’t hard enough, cyberbullying is the new-and-improved, technologically advanced way to ruin somebody’s life—and it’s even meaner than throwing tampons at that poor girl who smells funny. Threats and insults through texts, instant messages and social networks all have the sting of a verbal assault—with the added devastation of possibly being seen by everyone you know on Facebook. Theatre for a New Generation has acknowledged this unsettling trend and brings you The Secret Life of Girls, their new play based on real-life experiences.
