The Soft Hands’ revitalization continues! After a long hiatus following the release of their album Hours Pass By on local label Fidotrust, they reconvened in force earlier this summer—at the actual Prospector, where they now return every Tuesday this month to keep a good thing going. Besides delivering their happily familiar nervous Feelies-meets-Talking Heads style indie rock, the Handies are installing lots of high-caliber support, too. The Internet is super-excited about November 15’s Happy Hollows/Sex Bob-omb tribute band (from Scott Pilgrim!) but this week the Gentle Hands and their loose and righteous bedroom rock make a perfect match. Look forward to California Lions and So Cal Tennis Pros—intriguing, eh?—later this month.
Tuesdays, 9 p.m. Starts: Nov. 8. Continues through Nov. 29, 2011
