Author Greggory Moore turns an otherwise ordinary novel reading into a sensory flood of theatrical performance and live music. He calls this a “literary concert” and transforms the pages of his book, The Use of Regret, a poetic series of cerebral passages that blur the line between fiction and reality, into a flesh-and-blood showcase of art and ideas. Long Beach actors perform selected scenes from Moore's novel—and interspersed between these skits are the songs of Pink Floyd, the Pixies, David Bowie and more performed by members of local groups Miniature Houses, Dovelle, the Sawtooth bluegrass band and others. Come to Fingerprints and watch Moore's words come alive through dramatic theater and vivacious musical performance in a truly unique literary event.
