The Long Beach Folk Revival Festival is coming back to downtown Long Beach for the third year, where various local folk, bluegrass, roots, and Americana acts will perform in front of a beautiful ocean front. Besides music, there will be several contests (a pie-eating and mustache one, among others), arts and crafts, dancing, and food trucks–all of which are more than enough for a fun-filled day with family and friends. Among the acts performing are Deer Tick, He’s My Brother She’s My Sister, Irvine’s own Yellow Red Sparks, and many more. If that’s not enough fun for ya, there will also be a pre-party at The Renaissance Long Beach Hotel and after-party at Shenanigans Irish Pub.
