Going out drinking this weekend would be really awesome. Driving drunk afterward would be really shitty. For those of you who for some reason still insist on driving your car out, then drinking anyways, then not wanting to abandon your car for a night instead of just taking a Lyft, a new driving service will get you (and your car) home safe this Saturday. All you have to do is download an(other) app.

This Saturday, BeMyDD, a driving service that sends a pair of drivers to you and your car when you call them, will be sending free drivers out between the hours of 9 p.m. and 2 a.m. thanks in part to a sponsorship by Gentleman Jack Daniels and Total Wine. All you have to do is download the app, request a lift, and two drivers will come and get you. One will drive you and your car home while the other follows to retrieve the first driver when he's done.
It's a lot like a few other services, including the homegrown one that drove the Weekly back to our beds after we finished shooting the Chimay Challenge video.

(Coincidentally, The Globe is currently evolving/relocating and the service we used is no longer operating.)
