Alternative rock band and Irvine locals, Thrice, are bidding farewell to the music scene following their Major/Minor album promotion tour. The tour began in California earlier this year and, after their shows at House of Blues and the Observatory, it will end here, too. But don’t hit up Ebay to hock your band merchandise just yet, the awkwardly titled quartet says their musical departure is only temporary. After 13 years and eight albums, band members Dustin Kensrue, Teppei Teranishi, and brothers Riley and Eddie Breckenridge deserve a nice long vacation. (We expect that after this restful period, Riley will continue with his favorite job of all—writing for our music blog).
