While the BP oil disaster in the Gulf may have most Americans dreaming of an inland vacation rather than the classic ocean getaway this Summer, there’s no harm in reminiscing. And perhaps no ocean liner is more fantasy-worthy than the Titanic—the “being afloat” part, not the “death and destruction” part. Get your ship fantasy fix at the vintage Bay Theatre in Seal Beach as they screen James Cameron’s Best Picture-winner all week long. Sure, the depicted water may not be as warm as the spoiled waves in the Gulf of Mexico, but there’s some hot Leonardo DiCaprio in there to melt those fictional icebergs.
