We were bummed when we found out that The Lime Truck, OC's most famous luxe lonchera, would be opening a brick-and-mortar restaurant–in Los Angeles. Luckily, it's now expanding–to Irvine. Woo hoo!

TLT Food, run by Daniel Shemtob (remember him from the Food Network's Great Food Truck Race a couple years back?), will be opening a second location, though we don't yet have details on when. We expect more fresh, Cali fusion fare, such as blue crab grilled cheese, beef short rib sliders, pork belly adobo tacos and fresh fruit limeade.
