We at the Weekly have a soft spot for Ruby's Diner. Are the burgers the best? No, they're good, but they're not particularly amazing. What about the milkshakes? They don't leave you unsatisfied, but you can find better. But despite the consistent okay-ness of the food, Ruby still won a 2013 Best Of, Best Milkshake With a View. The spot is such a part of the quintessential Orange County experience that when Seal Beach but up the diner's pier space for bids, no one else bid.
Well, today is Ruby's Diner's 31st birthday, and to celebrate, Ruby is treating us to cheap food.

Today only (starting at 11:30 a.m.), you can get a Rubyburger with fries for just $3.10. That's it, no strings attached. You'll also get a card good for a free Rubyburger with (string attached) purchase of an entrée that's valid until February 13.
For a meal with a view, that's a pretty good deal, and the January beaches are beautiful, so what're you waiting for? Time to head to the pier.
