Last September, Irvine resident Todd Larson went to the emergency room with a swollen leg. Doctors ran blood tests, which eventually lead to the diagnosis of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL)—an aggressive and rapidly spreading type of Leukemia that is most commonly found in children. Since the news, Todd’s family has been holding fundraising events across the county to increase awareness and the scientific advancement of ALL. The latest in their charitable string is a benefit concert at House of Blues hosted by 95.5 KLOS’ Uncle Joe Benson, featuring performances by Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell, Whitesnake’s Mark Shulman (also the drummer for Pink, Beyonce and Sheryl Crow), and Broadway’s Jon Abrams. Come out, support the Larsen family and party like a rock star for Todd and ALL sufferers everywhere.
