William Bostwick and Jessi Rymill's Beer Craft: A Simple Guide to Making Great Beer is fast becoming a homebrewer's BFF, with fun, easy-to-follow pages on tasting notes, the history of popular brewing styles, designing your own labels and pairing beer with food, along with recipes scaled down to apartment-manageable batches.
Tonight, starting at 6:30 p.m., the SF-based authors will be at The Bruery Provisions in downtown Orange to sign copies of their new book. At the same time, the shop is releasing its newest series, Tart of Darkness, a tart yet dark and roasty sour stout. Bottles are $15, limit six.
