For their inaugural bash, the ladies of the Long Beach Roller Derby are out for blood and bruises as they compete for domination of the Spruce Goose Dome. For this all-ages event (though booze will be sold on premises for those of drinking age), Long Beach’s premier, all-female competitive roller derby league will see two of its three teams face off: the 4th Street Retro Rollers vs. the Terminal Island Tootsies. Sure, they’re pretty to look at, but hell hath no fury like a jammer skating through a pack of blockers.
