Both hailing from granola-crunching (we mean that in a good way) Portland, Oregon, Zack Egge and Corey Smith may be a tad displaced in sunny, bro-tastic Orange County. But their artwork has a universal appeal due to each man’s unique style of illustrating political irony and social commentary through brilliant colors and arrestingly stark imagery. Dubbed “Swordfight Death Match” (or “Fuck Yeah, Bro” depending on who you’re asking), this dual artist’s exhibit opening reception will provide music, food and a healthy dose of civic reflection.
