Any fight that starts with something along the lines of “You lookin' at my girlfriend, bro?” is automatically pointless. Last week, that Neanderthal mentality put a young man into a coma.

Here's KTLA-TV Channel 5's report:
Around last call on Aug 23, Irvin Ynfante, a friend, and his cousin, Margot Gomez, exited the Tuscany Club on Harbor Boulevard and Commonwealth Avenue in downtown Fullerton. Two strangers approached Ynfante and supposedly confronted him about looking at one of their women. Before Gomez even had the chance to catch up with his cousin, one stranger punched Ynfante, causing him to fall to the ground and hit his head on the concrete. Gomez scuttled with the suspects for a moment, leaving him with bruises, but the men fled the scene; Ynfante hasn't woken up since.

After viewing surveillance footage, police are positive there were witnesses and believe that several filmed the attack, but as of now, no one will come forward to I.D. the attackers. One suspect is a clean-shaven, white man in his mid-20s, around six feet tall with brown eyes, spiked hair and a muscular build. Caveman #2 is a light-skinned Latino with short black hair, around 5-foot-8 with a medium build. He wore a red T-shirt with typography and lines razored in his hair. One woman was sighted with the Neanderthals, but she is only described as a white female with blonde hair. Police believe that this is the girlfriend in question.
Ynfante underwent several surgeries and will undergo several more. Check out his Facebook page, Justice 4 IRVIN Ynfante for updates from his family.
