Are you one of the rare, rare unicorns in Orange County that goes to Sam's Club instead of Costco? If you answered yes — and if you bought Tyson Foods Chicken Nuggets — you might want to check your freezer.
Tyson Foods is recalling over 75,000 pounds of chicken shipped to Sam's Club because of what the USDA calls possible contamination “with extraneous materials.”
Check after the jump for identification information you can use to find out if your chicken might be extra artificial.

The item being recalled is the Tyson Foods Chicken Nuggets 5 pound page — item number 16142-928 with a used best by date of “Jan 26 2015″ or Feb 16 2015.” The manufacturer codes “0264SDL0315 through 19” and “0474SDL0311 through 14” can also be found on the bags. These products were produced Jan. 26, 2014 or Feb. 16, 2014 and shipped nationwide to Sam's Club.
If you're an large institution, you also might have bought some plastic-laced chicken. Twenty pound bulk packs of “Spare Time Fully Cooked Nugget-Shaped Chicken Breast Pattie Fritters w/Rib Meat – 16142-861” with identifying case codes of “0264SDL0315 through 19” and “0474SDL0311 through 14” are also being recalled.
If you do have some of the recalled product, cut out the UPC and throw out the bag. Send your bar code to Tyson at “Tyson Foods – CP631, P.O. Box 2020 Springdale, AR 72765-9989,” and they'll send you a replacement.
