The Pint House is located on Katella Avenue, next to the Century Theatres, walking distance to the Honda Center and Anaheim Stadium of Los Angeles. They offer happy hour prices during away games for both teams and All Day Sunday Happy Hour, because the Pint House wants YOU to be Happy! Enjoy one of their great tasting burgers, or go for their fish ‘n’ chips, fillets of cod dipped in a Dogfish Head IPA beer batter. Wings tossed in your choice of six different sauces, killer nachos and perfectly prepared calamari are popular appetizers, and there are also steaks, ribs and a weekend brunch.
All this awaits in a very comfortable, neighborhood pub setting—so comfy you might not make the Angel game but that’s OK, since there are plenty of big screens to watch them as they battle their way to fourth place. Their craft beer list is catholic, with a friendly staff glad to help you decide which Belgian style, IPA or pale ale to drink, and whether you just want a big boy or a flight. How about two?
Stone’s intense Enjoy By 07.04.16 DIPA (9.4% ABV) never gets old, with 12 types of hops and floral notes that start as strong as the citrus at the end. All perfectly melding with the hops. But the Una Mas by Left Coast Brewing American Amber Lager (5.8% ABV) is even better. Our friends at Left Coast in San Clemente turned what I thought was going to be a traditional Mexican lager into a reddish-amber beauty, with malty, dark fruit notes. Una Mas?! Hell, Cuatro Mas!
