As thing continue to change in the weed game, cannabis events are popping up all over the place, but there are some that are worth mentioning and of course those that are not. Dabathon Cup Music Festival Part 4 was last weekend (Sept. 16-17) and was legitimately done well. If you haven’t been to the National Orange Show in San Bernardino, the venue is massive, equipped with four or five hangar like buildings, a Ferris wheel, swings and other carnival rides. The smell of all the snacks and treats filled the air and tantalized me, testing my will power against the stoner munchies.
Cannabis vendors filled all the space in the various medicated indoor and outdoor areas, but my favorite was the tent hosted by Green Holding Group. I found it hard to leave, inside Slactavis, Dirtbike Nutrients, Humboldt Solutions, a few other canna porducts and a mini stage. Artists such as Shinhead and his crew , J-Ro from Tha Alkaholiks, and others took the stage, metaphorically they set the roof on fire.
The music, food, cannabis, competition and obviously the dabs were on point at Dabathon Cup – a sweet blend, with not too much or too little of anything. If I had to complain about anything, it’d be the security, unable to answer a single question, they basically knew nothing.
