I used to consider shopping at Costco and Target just saving money. I was wrong. So very wrong. Thanks to The Krazy Coupon Lady for showing me the light.
Anyway, if you're trying to not dash to the grocery store at the last minute, here's a deal for you. Pull the Sunday paper from last weekend for a steal on munchies (assuming you're not brand-loyal to chips, salsa or soda, or you still buy newspapers–or even read them, for that matter). You. Can. Go. All. The. Way!

At Target through Sunday, there's a promotion: Buy two bags of Tostitos for $5, and get a matching 16-ounce salsa for FREE! The sale price of all three items totals $7.50. This alone is a bargain at more than 30 percent off. If we divide evenly, that's three tasty snacks for about $1.66 each.
Now, try this:
Use one $0.55/1 coupon for Tostitos chips (found in the SmartSource batch of coupons).
Use one $0.55/1 coupon for Tostitos salsa (also in aforementioned place).
We're now down to $3.90, or $1.30 each.
All this math makes me thirsty. Why don't we grab a halftime soda?
At my local Albertsons, I found a tear-away coupon on one of their displays for a free 2-liter Pepsi (or Diet Pepsi) with the purchase of a bag of Tostitos chips plus dip. Take one on your way to Target (where it's still valid), and you now have 4 items for $0.98 each. TOUCHDOWN!
Still not satisfied? Stay at Albertsons for a comparable special: Purchase a box of Orville Redenbacher's Microwave Popping Corn for $3.79. Receive a second box of popcorn, plus two 2-liter bottles of 7-UP, Diet 7-UP or Sunkist soda for FREE. That's already four items for less than a buck each.
If you have The Joy of Football Playbook from Vons, pull the manufacturer coupon for popcorn. It's $1 off two boxes of Orville Redenbacher. That tackles the individual cost to $0.70 each.
It's as cool as the other side of the pillow.
