Perhaps because using their voices didn't
go so well last time (see: Irvine 11), anti-Israel students at UC Irvine tried a different protest tactic–silence.
Last Thursday, two Israeli Defense Force (IDF) soldiers were invited to speak on campus. Shortly after the program began, a mass of students–essentially the entire audience–stood up without saying a word and walked out the back door. Several donned signs on their shirts that read “IDF Guilty of War Crimes.”

Here's the video of the event:
A similar protest took place at UCLA two days prior.
It's unclear whether UCI's Muslim Student Union (MSU) organized the walk-out, though a YouTube commenter wrote, “Legit! MSU UCI handling business, always speaking the truth and standing up for injustice all around the world!”
