The Observatory taps into its blues vein this week with the arrival of Walter Trout—who, in February, got a double-page spread in Guitarist Magazine's 100 Guitar Heroes edition. With his newest album, Luther's Blues, released in June, Trout takes his rockstar handling of that ol' six-string on an international tour (much to the joy of his fan club members across 14 countries). If Trout was born to do one thing, it's absolutely wail on a guitar. Fans of rock, blues, jazz, and great music in general, must get to the Observatory this Friday night—and pray to the guitar gods he does a cover of “Dust my Broom.
