Never an establishment that would allow pesky ol’ work to prevent them from throwing a party (just look at the sensation that is Sundays by the Sea), Ripples in Long Beach has turned dreary, old Monday nights into a hip-hop extravaganza devilishly named Sin. Featuring spun magic by DJ Ernie Pearl, the night revolves around hip-hop and old school, hot go-go boys, drink specials (two-for-one domestic beers and well drinks pretty much means you have to buy somebody a beverage) and, hopefully, some deliciously sinful indiscretions. Oh, please . . . Ripples isn’t exactly known for being coy.
