To punish her misbehavin' son for lying about getting in trouble in school, Alaska mom Jessica Beagley did the unthinkable.
The act was caught on videotape–one that Beagly made herself–which also showed her forcing the boy to stand in a cold shower for sword-fighting with pencils in school. The 36-year-old adoptive mother was convicted of child abuse, a misdemeanor, after prosecutors argued that the video was a ploy to get some airtime on Dr. Phil, where she was a guest in a January segment titled “Mommy Confessions.”

Beagly could face up to one year in jail, a $10,000 fine and up to 10 years of probation when she is sentenced Monday.
