A coming-of-age movie about twentysomethings set against the EDM world launches today on Netflix.
The ensemble cast for XOXO includes Modern Family's Sarah Hyland, The Good Wife's Graham Phillips, Undateable's Chris D’Elia, Party Down's Ryan Hansen and Say Anything's Ione Skye.
Directed by Christoper Louie and written by Dyland Meyer, the film follows six young people to the biggest EDM festival in America, XOXO, where a young DJ also gets a last minute slot to perform after his tracks go viral online days before the event.
Pete Tong, the superstar club DJ whose life was dramatized in the 2004 movie It's All Gone Pete Tong, serves as the movie's music supervisor as well as one of the producers.
The soundtrack features a new song from Grammy nominated electronic duo Galantis and East & Young called “Make Me Feel.” The entire soundtrack is available today through Big Beat Records.
