The life of a famous musician's child is an odd one. You're rich, famous by association, and always in a shadow. What happens when your father is Frank Zappa, one of the weirdest musicians in popular culture? You know life is going to be strange when your mom and dad's first act as parents is naming you “Diva Thin Muffin Pigeen” or “Moon Unit.” In the case of Dweezil Zappa, he was named after his mother's oddly shaped pinky toe. So, there's two options: run far, far away from your crazy parents, à la Frances Bean Cobain, or embrace your heritage fully, like Hank Williams Jr. and Hank III. Dweezil Zappa has done just that with his Frank Zappa tribute, Zappa Plays Zappa. Both new and nostalgic generations are able to enjoy the Zappa madness thanks to his first son. Zappa lives!
