The Los Alamitos Race Track welcomed hundreds of wiener dogs on the race track for the 24th annual Wiener Nationals that included different heats of dachshund races this past Saturday night. The wiener dog national event included both the usual horse races, along with wiener dog races. Throughout the event, guests were able to bet on their favorite dog or horse, have a chihuahua brand beer, a hot dog and give attention to all the doxies that were in attendance. Each year benefits the Seal Beach Animal Care Center who was also present at the event selling merch.
