emergency back surgery. Can the Anaheim dates for Sunday and Monday, June 6 and 7 be far behind?
According to the statement on U2.com,
Bono “was admitted to a specialist neurosurgery unit in a Munich hospital.” He will spend a few days there, before returning to Ireland to recuperate.
The 50-year-old singer was supposed to join his bandmates in Salt Lake City for rehearsals next Tuesday, where the 360-Degree tour was set to launch.
Apparently, the rest of the summer itinerary is in doubt. Band manager Paul McGuinness said “It's unfortunate that we're inconveniencing fans, we will make plans to reinstate these dates as soon as possible … we hope to get things resolved as soon as possible.”' Listen to the whole statement about the news of Bono's back surgery and the tour here:
